In this course, we present the most useful tools to manage your online business. These are services and platforms developed and used by experts, that will help you bring audience and potential customers to your website, and improve your organisation and your enterprise image.

Nowadays, it is nothing new that the Internet takes a huge relevance when it comes to sharing information, services, business… To such a point that, if it is not on the Internet, it doesn’t exist. That is why it is important our presence on the Internet. The advantages it supposes are countless, as you can make yourself known around the world, control your image, know customers opinions and manage your business easily, efficiently and, in many times, for free. In this course, we will learn tools that will helps us to manage our business on the Internet. 1.1.2. Before we start 1.1.2.1. Before we dive in the massive world of the Internet, we must take into account some aspects: -The online world is not alternative to the real world (in most cases). We must look after our image on both. -Respect your corporate image. If your business has a logotype, images and corporate colours, don’t be afraid to include them. Otherwise, your users and customers will not recognise our website. -Make it easy. Do not make it difficult to the user to find you, or else it will be your competence who will be found. To achieve this, we must use a simple language, short paragraphs and an appropriate letter size and font. Moreover, responsive design will allow our website to adapt to different devices. 1.2. We must lead all the advertising and means to it, as our website gathers all the information that the customer needs: contact, products, offers… We will start by creating it, and for this task, we can use different platforms: -WordPress: Allows to create and manage any type of website contents. Perfect for commercial websites. https://wordpress.com/ -Wix: This platform is useful for beginners and for experts in web design. Allows to get free personalized designs or to create them as you like. https://www.wix.com/ - SquareSpace: Offers services for website creation and hosting. It is easy to use, and it is not necessary technical knowledge. It has free and payment options. https://www.squarespace.com/ -Weebly: Ideal for enterprises. Once we have created our website, it is important that our customers can find us when making a search on search engines, and we can achieve that thanks to SEO. SEO means “Search Online Optimization”. It consists in an algorithm system that assigns a position in the list of results for the search of a specific keyword. SEO is important because customers will find the best positioned results, that is why it is important a good positioning to attract visitors. To manage and improve our positioning, there are some tools that can give us information about our website and how to enhance it. -Google Search Console and Google Analytics: They both belong to Google, the more used search engine. Nowadays, if it is not on the Internet, it doesn’t exist. The advantages the Internet offers are countless, as it can help to make yourself known around the world, control your image, get customers opinions… In this course we will learn about tools developed by experts that will help us manage our online business.
 
Before we start we must take some aspects into account:

-Online world is not alternative to real world. Look after your image on both.

-Respect your corporate image

-Make it easy to the user to find you. To help us with this task you can: use a simple language, use an appropiate letter size and font, short paragraphs and reponsive design.

 

 



  Tools for websites

Our website must be the main focus of our online strategy, as it gather all relevant information for the user. These platforms may help us.

-Wordpress:It allows to create and manage any type of website.

-Wix:It allows to get free personalized designs or to create them as you like.
